    Description

    New Permatex thread sealer.  This is Seal and Lock, and is designed to seal threads.  This sealer is typically used to seal threaded plugs and bolts that enter a water jacket to prevent water/coolant from leaking through the bolt threads. We typically use this on intake manifold bolts, cylinder head bolts, water pump bolts, drain plugs and other threaded sensors that thread into a water jacket or air tract that can cause either a water or vacuum leak.
    TIPS :
    Not all gasket sealers are the same.  The color of the sealer is typically for a specific fluid or application, although some are multipurpose.  Using the right sealer works properly, using the wrong sealer may cause premature leaks.
