Description

This vintage original magazine page ad is for Jell-O brand desserts by Genesee Pure Foods.  Printed in 1920 in an unknown magazine, the 10.5" x 15.5" page is in very good condition and has been preserved in a plastic coating with sturdy paper backing.  The page is not glued or attached to the backing but does have some mild waviness near the bottom edge and a 1/2" tear on the left side behind the standing girl's foot.  Adorable drawing of early 1900's children eating, of course, Jell-O was done by artist Rose O'Neill, the creator of the kewpie babies.  Very popular in that era, kewpies became famous dolls as well as art figures.  The plastic covering was re-taped by this seller so it can easily be removed if desired.  Great keepsake from Ms. O'Neill's art work, perfect for framing!
