    Description

    Offered is a Vintage Blue & White Historic Saint Augustine, Florida Collector Plate.  The plate features scenes of various landmarks and historical figures.  Printed on the reverse is some history and background of Saint Augustine and “This plate designed exclusively for J. CARVER HARRIS”.
    The plate is very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.  The colors are bright with a nice glaze finish.
    The plate was produced by Vernon Kilns, an American ceramics company in Vernon, California.  They were one of the “Big Five” California potteries and were founded in 1931 and closed in 1958.
    The plate measures 10 3/8” diameter.
