Vintage cotton sock doll 18" handmade CLOWN White Blue Stripes - Cute / Creepy?

Vintage cotton sock doll 18" handmade CLOWN dressed in White and Blue with stripes.  Has some yarn on the hat and for hair.  Almost a Mr. Bill type look to him.  Personally I think him to be cute but some may think creepy. Condition is vintage - believed to be from the 1970s or possibly early 80s.  We have a second almost matching one as well in coordinating clothes (the other one has white and blue with flowers)
Item measures 18 inches from tip of hat to feet and 12 inches wide with arms outstretched
