This is a Vernon California Pottery large Calico charger. It measures a little under 14" in diameter. On its back side it is stamped: UNDER GLAZE HAND PAINTED CALICO VERNONWARE CALIFORINA USA. There is minimal light scratches, not from utensils, but from something stacked on the platter. There are no chips or cracks.
