This stuff is legitimately amazing. We have two giant, puffy cats that wind up producing equally giant and puffy hairballs every now and then (along with a discoloring liquid). Sometimes, if they're feeling slighted, they'll regurgitate dinner onto the carpet in order to remind us they're in charge. These things STAINED the carpet. And then this stuff REMOVED the stains when nothing else would. I should have taken before and after pictures. Next time. Because there will be a next time. Also - one time my husband stepped on this really sharp thing we use to comb their hair and it punctured the sole of his foot. He bled all over the carpet. This stuff got the bloodstains out too. So yeah, I'm making sure we always have a bottle of this. Also in spite of the blood, barf, and regurgitated dinners, my cats are pretty cool.
Simple Solution is the absolute best for removing pet stains and odor. My wife and I have a 6 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (who's fully house trained) and just adopted another 12-week old Soft Coated Wheaten. We were nervous that the new puppy may pee in our brand new home, and leave areas that she or our older pup would come back to, to smell or continue to "mark their territory." With simple solution and a rigerous cleaning, I NEVER see them come back to the spots. I've even gone as far as looking with a black light, and this fully cleans the area with no trace compared to other pet products. Because of Simple Solution, we were able to house train our puppy in weeks and she doesn't remember her prior mistakes. I rate this a perfect 5/5 after using multiple other products.
At one point I had two dogs and two cats under one roof. One cat was elderly; one dog was a partially house-broken stray who needed lots of love and re-training. Simple Solution is the only enzyme cleaner that beat all four of their noses, stopped re-marking, and made it hard to tell I had four pets. It also works great in laundry, too -- really knocks out tough sweat and body odors. I've been buying this for years and make sure to stock up when it goes on sale. They also make a carpet cleaner for shampooers that is super concentrated and well worth the money if you can find it.
