    STAY NUTS
    are are my newest product offering.
    These were designed as a dress up replacement for the stock bolts holding down your valve covers.
    Why are they called
    Stay NUTS?
    I'll explain that a little latter but first let me give you a description of the product.
    STAY NUTS
    are machined from 6061 Aluminum in Addison, IL
    STAY NUTS
    are 1/2" diameter by 1-1/2" long
    STAY NUTS
    have a 1/4-20 by 5/8" min. thread depth with a
    steep 20' lead in chamfer to help prevent cross
    threading and ease of starting onto the stud.
    STAY NUTS
    comes with a 1-1/2" long Stainless Steel stud.
    STAY NUTS
    have a 7/16" hex machined on the top end that will fit a standard socket.
    STAY NUTS
    are ANODIZED RED.
    Now for why they are called
    STAY NUTS
    .
    As you can see from the pictures there are 3 black O-Rings on the hex portion of the
    STAY NUTS
    . These O-Rings will keep the
    STAY NUTS
    in the socket (They
    STAY
    in place). You don't have to start them by hand and then reach for your socket wrench. Simply slip them into the socket and they will stay put until you screw them onto the stud. This is also true when you remove them from the stud. You won't have to worry about them falling out of the socket and ending up somewhere in your engine compartment. Plus the O-Rings look pretty COOL!
