Please Note: Only the passenger side needs the half-moon shaped piece or block extension because you have to create an angle for that side.  If that piece wasn’t there it would defeat the purpose because you couldn’t see behind you looking at the passenger side mirror. On the driver side this is not a problem so the half-moon piece with a wider adjustment radius is not needed
