HANDLING TIME
HANDLING TIME:
Handling time is the number of business days sellers state it will take to ship your order once your
payment has cleared. This does not include the time it will take the shipping
service to deliver the item you purchased.
This may be a strange topic however we feel we can serve you better if you have more insight about the shipping of our leather products. The handling time of our leather products is 5 days. E-Bay cautions more than 2 days may affect sales, as it is excessive, however in reality it probably needs to be longer.
Below the shipping fee on every auction E-Bay provides an Estimated Delivery Date. This allows buyers to know prior to checkout what day it will be delivered. They calculate it using the buyers handling time and the shipping companies listed transit time.  Sellers attempt to keep handling to a minimum so buyers receive orders quickly. To further encourage this,
E-Bay started the FAST N FREE Program.
Due to a disease my husband was diagnosed with early in his Police career he is now a bedfast quadriplegic. Out of financial necessity I have been his caretaker for over 25 years.  Because it would be impossible to keep an inventory, take orders, pack, ship orders & care for my husband, they agreed to drop ship all sales directly from their shop.
The Amish Family that hand crafts all of our Leather products reside 1,300 miles away from us. When a purchase is made, we create & forward a shipping label and packing slip to them. When we create a shipping label, E-Bay immediately shows that order shipped.
Being strong in their faith our Craftsman does not have telephones, electricity, cars etc. so it is several days before they even receive them.  So in1 reality our Craftsman may not see your order for several days. Many times that is why your order may be listed as shipped, but there is no Post Office activity.
Please refer to the Deliver By Date provided by E-Bay as that is most likely the day you will receive your purchase.
