Description
BRAND NEW DE SOTO T1 BLACK PEARL BIBJOHN TRIATHLON WETSUITThe Black Pearl Bibjohn is 5mm thick from the ankle to just above the hips. Above the hips, it is 3mm thick. All seams are glued and blind-stitched, making them stronger than the rubber itself. De Soto wetsuits are sold as separates for a more customized fit.
First in the industry to introduce limestone rubber into wetsuits, De Soto T1 Wetsuits incorporate the amazing GreenGoma Rubber offering better stretch, buoyancy, durability and insulation with a more closed-cell injected construction making it 98.9% water impermeable. It's lighter, dries quicker and lasts longer. The only part of the rubber that gets wet is the new stretch liner that is now made of recycled post-consumer products.
3mm Bib straps go over the trapezius (base of neck), so no limited reach, no tired shoulders, faster swim times
The Black Pearl has the same design, construction, and fit as the T1 First Wave, but is made of GreenGoma #8 Rubber with Super Composite Skin
This model offers a very affordable option without sacrificing warmth, comfort, and durability
Chlorine Resistant Treatment
Eliptical leg openings for faster and easier removal, longer seam tape for self-customizing leg length, and lower profile Bibjohn straps with soft Lycra trim
An affordable option for the entry level athlete, perfect for sprints, warm water races and pool swimming.
Unisex sizing
When choosing your size, please be sure to focus on your weight rather than height. Your weight MUST be between the high and low on the sizing chart. Your height isn’t as important because the length of the suit can be an inch or two longer or shorter but the suit has to be able to accommodate the mass of your body, so please focus on your weight. If you’re within a few pounds of the maximum weight, we suggest you size up to the next size. If you'd like some friendly help, please call us or email us.
