    Description

    This is a beautiful and hard to find piece of MAY & VIEVE HAMILTON VERNON KILNS CALIFORNIA ART POTTERY.  It is what they called the pierced plate and is marked that way on the back.  This piece was part of many exhibits and is part of many pottery/ceramic museum collections.  It has no chips or cracks.  Does have an area on the rim of missed glaze but is not a chip or rub.  Simply was missed during manufacturing which was common for pieces that were hand finished.  I have shown it in photos.  It measures 17 3/4" in diameter .....It dates to between 1936-1939. It is a real show stopper.
