Handmade Cloth Doll By Elaine Lim “Haylie” 1995, 10 1/2 Inches. Condition is "Pre-Owned". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This adorable and unique doll was made by doll artist Elaine Lim in 1995.
"Haylie" stands 101/2 inches tall.
She has the sweetest painted face, n
eedle sculpted and painted by hand, with brown eyes and lightly tinted lips.
She has textured black hair with a yellow bow in the back.
Haylie wears a lovely outfit, all made by hand. Her dress is cream colored fabric with pink and green flower buds.
The plaid border is of the same colors.
Her sweater looks like it was knitted by hand and matches the dress perfectly, of cream and rose color yarn.
It is embellished with colorful flower buttons.
Underneath she has bloomers and a slip with eyelet trim.
Her legs are made of rose colored fabric with tiny white flowers.
Matching rose color shoes complete her outfit.
Haylie holds a white terrycloth teddy bear with embroidered face.
Please note: in the photographs the white bear looks like it has some slight discoloration, which is not easily visible in person.
The teddy holds a little teddy bear button wearing a blue dress and blue bow.
This doll is signed on the back of her head, "Elaine Lim Haylie (C) 1995"
The original hang tag is still on her wrist. The front is embossed "Elaine Lim".
Inside it says "Handmade Contemporary Fabric Dolls Elaine Lim", while the back says "Haylie (C) 1995"
This is a very sweet little girl. She has been packed away, not on display, and is in excellent condition.
Haylie would make a lovely addition to any collection!
