Cincinnati Parking Control Systems Token
~  Token, apparently cupro-nickel, for Cincinnati Parking Control Systems. Contrary to popular theory, these parking systems have nothing to do with the city of Cincinnati in Ohio. Rather, they are a product of Amano Cincinnati, Inc., a division of Amano Corporation of Japan. Although the token is undated, I'd guess it to be from before Amano acquired Cincinnati of Maine. This token has light wear (see my scans). It measures roughly 25 mm and appears to be interchangable with a quarter adding credence to the idea that the token is at least somewhat vintage. Similar tokens found on eBay for as much as but all missidentified.
