BARRY GRANT BLACK RUBBER NOK FUEL PUMP SEAL BEARING & SOCKET KIT BG 280 400 220

Please pull your pump down prior to purchase and make sure it has the black all rubber nok seal in it.
This a universal reseal and bearing kit along with the security socket for the BG Barry Grant electric fuel pumps built prior to 2006 that use the black NOK rubber shaft seal including the BG220,BG220HR,BG220RR,BG220PS,BG280,BG400,BG400-2 and the BG400PS. This kit contains enough seals and orings to seal one kit whether it be the BG 220,BG 280 or BG 400 ,one pair of replacement bearings for the pump motor and the tri blade security socket to get the pump end plate off.
IMPORTANT! Please measure your bearing id and od prior to buying this kit as we have just encountered our first motor shaft that is not the same size in the seal area as it is in the bearing area.The id. on these bearings is in the .309/.313 range which is similar to the seals.The od on them is in the .867 range which is the same as the tapered shaft ones as well. If you have a tapered motor shaft that is 2 different sizes these will not work and the one we were informed about was .375 on the id. We are looking into a bearing for this application and if we get any call for them will add them to our line as well.
Included are the following orings:
Black NOK shaft seal,end plate oring for the 400,end plate oring for the 220/280,a pair of 10an inlet and outlet fitting orings,a 8an oring for the outside of the brass bypass as well as a pair of internal orings for the adjustable bypass [only uses one] .As of 5-19-12 we have also added the correct oring that is used on the small red screw in plug on the side of the 280 as well truly making this a complete kit now.
Please note these  work on pumps produced up until early 2006 that have the rubber shaft seals. During 2006 there was a production change to the pumps as well as some repaired pumps and they will have the larger walrus seal in them which can be identified by its brown color and hard outer shell.These will not replace the walrus seals in those pumps. We do offer the kits for those in our store as well.
These kits are shipped in a bubble mailer and not just an envelope like some others. We ship daily by USPS First Class.
The shaft seals are manufactured by one of the original Barry Grant / Demon vendors that was used prior to 2011 and the same components that your pump would have been originally built with when new.
