    Description

    Offered is this Vernon Kilns or Vernonware Set of four individual Butter Pats in the Sherwood pattern with brown and gold leaves. Each measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Each is in excellent condition and has no chips, dings, cracks, scratches, rough spots, or any damage! Pease see all Photos.
    According the the Collectible Vernon Kilns book by Maxine Feek Nelson, the only "known" butter pats in this shape, the San Clemente or Anytime shape, is in the Tickled Pink pattern. I personally have only seen one set of the Sherwood Butter Pats in thirty years of collecting Vernon; and these are the ones.
    The Sherwood pattern was manufactured by Vernon in 1955 - 1958.
